Mechanical Engineering Internship Review from Tony

Mechanical engineering intern Tony from Central Queensland University.

“The internship was great and it was related to my professional field of study. I was a production assistant and an interim graduate mechanical engineer. It was a small and family-owned company but I got to work directly under the Managing Director. I learnt a lot and it was definitely beneficial to me. I learnt new Excel skills and technical skills, as well as mechanical design help. I worked on projects that surrounded chemical injection pumps. I learnt a lot of technical skills such as Autodesk Inventor which is the most current and up-to-date software in Australia and CAD software. The best part of the internship was that I got to be in charge of the projects as the company gave me that opportunity.”
