“This is my second month in my IT internship, I am glad that this internship is incredibly enriching! I have also gained a deeper understanding and familiarity with back end processing. The internship’s atmosphere is very good and my colleagues are all very supportive. My supervisor ensures everything is communicated well. I am glad that whenever I have a question or concern, I am given the assistance that I need.
As an IT intern, my main task includes assisting in developing our website’s portal using WordPress. I am also in charge of automating the back end database processing. Moreover, I am also responsible for communicating with clients and stakeholders. I have benefited a lot from this internship. I acquired back end processing skills and familiarized myself with the WordPress application. And because I’m mainly in communication with clients, this also enhanced my communication skills and problem solving skills.
For students who are exploring internships, I encourage you to continue to have the heart in improving yourself, keep looking for ways on how to improve and how to be better each day. Always ask questions in order to provide clarity, don’t be shy when things are not clear for you. It’s better to clarify rather than working with doubt. Embrace new challenges and face your fears.”
