Electrical Engineering Internship Review from W G Huang

Electrical engineering intern W G Huang from the University of New South Wales.

My internship was a meaningful transition from classroom learning to a real working environment, particularly in the field of EV charging systems. The workplace was friendly and supportive, with approachable colleagues and an understanding supervisor.

My main responsibilities included assisting with documentation, organizing technical files, preparing basic testing, and occasionally supporting the sales team. I also had the chance to observe software configuration and testing processes, which gave me valuable industry insight. While my tasks were not complex, the experience helped me build workplace confidence, improve teamwork, and develop professional communication skills.

My advice to future interns is to take every task seriously, ask questions, and stay curious to keep learning.
