“My overall experience during this internship was very positive. Although the tasks were challenging, they allowed me to learn many new things and improve my skills. Every time I faced a challenge, I was able to grow from it, which boosted my confidence in my professional abilities. I’m also excited about applying these experiences in the future. My internship was remote, but my supervisor was very patient and encouraging. Every time I was assigned a task, they would reassure me. I remember one time when I wasn’t sure if I could complete a task, but my supervisor told me that I had done well with previous tasks and assured me that I didn’t need to worry, which gave me a lot of confidence.
My main tasks were to provide IT support, including network security, programming, and data management. I worked on JavaScript and Python for web development and optimization, and was responsible for solving software and AI problems, managing programming environments, and AI/ML resources to ensure the system was efficient and secure. In terms of network security, I worked on a web development project involving backend password switching. Despite the challenges, I successfully completed the task and received a project certificate from my manager. Additionally, I performed software and mobile app testing, bug fixing, learned AutoCAD, and worked on tasks related to debt markets, risk management, and business operations. By continuously optimizing IT processes and adopting new technologies, I improved system performance and reliability.
This internship taught me a lot, especially through challenging tasks. When I first received the network security project, I wasn’t sure if I could complete it, but I learned to have confidence in myself, be patient, and communicate effectively. I didn’t know much about network security before, but through this project, I gained a deeper understanding and also learned more about web development. The whole experience helped me grow in technical skills, problem-solving, and teamwork. For students interested in internships, I have a few pieces of advice. First, prepare a draft 2-3 days before the interview, get familiar with your resume and experience, and be well-prepared. Second, learn about the company’s field and research its culture and values, so you can demonstrate a good fit. Finally, no matter what difficulties you encounter, don’t doubt yourself. Stay confident, believe you can solve problems, and challenge yourself to improve.”
