One of the biggest benefits I gained from the internship is the amount of knowledge I have learnt about equipment maintenance. I also learnt industrial and professional jargon from the maintenance manuals. I diligently observed maintenance engineers and was given the opportunity to operate the equipment myself. At the beginning, I was too shy to communicate with my colleagues as I was worried about my English skills. Fortunately, they were quite patient with me and I adjusted and gradually got over the language barrier. Now I am confident and am willing to take the initiative to communicate in any new company.
