MAIN TASKS: Operations and accounting
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Internship duration is 3-6 months and a monthly allowance will be provided.
The intern will gain exposure to the operations of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors through both observation and supervised practice.
1 – Tasks will be legal oriented. Projects of an investigative nature, gathering and/or reviewing information to hand, reviewing the application of the Bankruptcy Act and preparing file notes gathering both aspects and possibly making a recommendation(s) to the trustee for decision making. Obviously at all stages will be fully guided & supported
2 – Demonstrate the ability to merge documents in Microsoft word from MYOB software
3 – Demonstrate the ability to follow task lists and check lists to ensure legal compliance on personal Insolvency administrations
4 – Develop good relations with other staff in the personal insolvency division by ensuring participation in all team meetings and events, and have an understanding of each tea member’s role as well as their own
1 – Ensure you complete tasks assigned accurately and in a timely manner
2 – Actively participate in preparation of meeting of creditors, including attending meetings as an observer
3 – Actively participate in the firm’s training programmes, ensuring that they are proactive in demonstrating the skills taught on the job
