Effect of innovative postharvest technologies to maintain fruit quality.
This will require the intern to assist in existing research programs. This work will involve survey of the scientific literature, planning and conducting postharvest horticulture research. This will be done in association with other researchers. The outcomes of this work will directly assist horticultural producers.
The host is a family owned & operated Primary Beef Producer running a herd of 1300-1500+ breeders Brahman/Charbray x cattle.
Duties during internship:
The requirements for the intern is the ability to ride a Horse competently, the ability to maintain tack & do basic hoof/animal care skills, as we muster all our cattle on horseback. The intern must be studying a related course with an internship requirement.
