Law affects many areas such as politics, economics, and society in different ways and serves as a mediator of relations between people. This is why law is a part of our daily life; it is in many everyday things, that you don’t normally notices. Law is ruled by jurisdictions and courts and classified in different areas. Law is influenced by the constitution, but is also made by legislatures through legislation. As a student in law, you can study either Civil law or Criminal laws which are the two main areas of Legal field. Criminal law deals with conduct that is harmful to the society. Civil deals with the resolution of lawsuits that organizations or individuals may have between each other and seek to provide legal remedy. Special areas under civil law could be: International law, Contract law, Tort law, Administrative law, Property law, Trust law, Constitutional law.
