Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and the fifth-largest city in Australia. It terms of livability, it was listed in the Top 10 of The Economist’s “World’s Most Liveable Cities” in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Also, it was ranked the “most livable city in Australia” by the Property Council of Australia in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Here are the main websites to find a suitable accommodation in Adelaide:
Gumtree: Very famous in Australia, you can find everything you need in this website, not only for the accommodation. You will find plenty of offers in Gumtree which makes it really useful for you to find what you want, you can even chose the suburb that suits you best. http://www.gumtree.com.
Flatmates / EasyRoommate: These websites focus only on shared accommodation, you can add or remove some details to make the search more accurate and suitable for you (Private/Shared room, price, suburb, furnished/unfurnished, etc..).
We highly recommend you to visit places before booking something, just to avoid any surprise. The best thing to do is to come in the City directly, to book first an hotel or a backpacker and then do some visits to take the good decision for your accommodation.
